MOUSE TRAP CARS! A physics class isn’t complete without a mouse trap car! Here are lots and lots of examples I’ve kept. Our distance record so far is just over 100 feet, we basically ran out of hallway so we had to take it to the gym, and then it broke in typical mouse trap car fashion! Best tips for distance:
-use a fishing rod
-use balsa wood
-keep it SIMPLE, lightweight as possible and keep that axle spinning
