The Jackson school of Geology was in need of master teachers to partner with several doctoral candidates to give them ‘behind the wheel’ teaching opportunities so that UT could produce professors that were more effective. My partner researched a fascinating relationship between certain types of rocks and their propensity to predict earthquakes.
